Buy Test Access on the website
Test Access is the required first purchase for new customers. Complete the website checkout and receive your registration code by email. Annual Access is not available from website checkout.

Download for Windows or iOS
On Windows, download the official ZIP, extract it and run the installer. On iPhone, use the App Store button or scan the QR code on the Download page.
Get the official download - 03
Activate your account
Retrieve the registration code from your purchase email. Complete registration using the same code and your chosen credentials. The referral code is optional. Web registration is also available.

Sign in on up to 2 devices
Use the same Stage1Files account on 2 Windows PCs or on 1 Windows PC and 1 iPhone. Contact Support before replacing a registered device or changing major hardware.

Identify and process an original
Check the ECU/TCU family and exact file eligibility. Open the original in the software and run the supported Stage 1 workflow. If the strategy is unsupported or identification is unclear, stop and ask Support.
Search the platform directory - 06
Save the result and validate
Keep the original and output in your job record. MyFiles provides timestamps and version history. Verify the result and follow your programming tool’s procedure before writing to the vehicle.

Purchase Annual Access inside Stage1Files
After activating Test Access, use your existing account in the desktop application. Open Extend Subscription and select Annual Access. Annual purchases and renewals are completed in the application, not on this website.
